Whether working directly with individual leaders, with teams, or with the whole organization, Ever Better’s focus is to connect your compelling purpose with an organizational design and culture optimized for success.

​We do this by guiding clients from outdated ways of working to new human-centered ways, based on frequent iteration, experimentation, rapid learning, distributed authority, and open information sharing. We draw on principles and practices developed in the Agile, Teal, and Responsive business movements. Making these shifts will position your team to adapt more quickly and easily to complexity and volatility. Examples include:

Workshop/Retreat

Onsite or remotely, we work with participants to explore both what is working well and what could be better. We use exercises specifically designed to help your team think systemically and experience new ways of working. Coming out of the workshop, colleagues have a framework for understanding how they work together, a common perspective on the current state, and potential solutions that can be immediately implemented. People are energized by the opportunity to engage more fully in their work, growing personally and professionally.

Consulting

We work with leaders and teams to design and implement experiments focused on unleashing the organization's ability to meet its purpose. We work in one-month blocks, during which we meet in person or by video once a week. In these meetings we identify  obstacles/challenges, design potential solutions, and review experiments that are already underway. We are also available between meetings to answer questions and respond to
new developments.


Tailor your investment

You control the engagement. You have the option to activate one or more concurrent blocks of consulting time, for one or more months. We work on a month-to-month basis, with no long-term contracts. At the end of each month, our invoices indicate the pre-agreed rate for our services. With each invoice, you have the option to adjust the actual payment based on the value you feel you have received.

Initial meetings focus on discovery - exploring current conditions, assumptions, practices and processes. Subsequent meetings focus on ​specific categories (such as chartering teams and clarifying roles), and explore potential new assumptions,
practices and processes.


​We help you and your team discover a new way of working and organizing to create a higher level of performance. We iterate the process with you, establishing a pattern of small, “safe to try” experiments with clearly defined feedback loops.

Fees

Workshop: $1500 minimum, plus expenses
Consulting: $2500 per month (discounts available for small nonprofits)
